Project Description
The clients called this garden a ‘blank canvas’ and they allowed me to create a new space for them that was aesthetic as well as practical.
We agreed on a modern design that would encompass the pool area. Cor-ten steel screens, split-level hardwood decks and large boulders were used to structure. Amongst the boulders, soft grassy planting that grows well in the sub-tropical climate formed a green carpet. The clients then added their own final touches to make the garden their own.
The garden can be enjoyed both day and night following the addition of a lighting system.
